There has been a lot of talk about the Age of Conan and their plan to merge servers. Game Director Craig Morrison is responding to the problems in the game and player complaints and looking to consolodate hardware and improve performance. The merge should take place with North American servers and with Europe servers. At the end of the merge gameplay stability should be improved.

Of course the obvious question that comes to mind is if the server merge is happening due to low populations of players. It is no secret that subscriptions to the Age of Conan MMO have been dropping and this seems a clear sign.

Funcom is of course also focusing on releasing Age of Conan for Xbox 360.

Better communication from Funcom and other improvents are a final effort to retain players and improve customer satisfaction.
