Age of Conan has announced an offline leveling system with the release of the 1.07.02 patch. This system will allow players to level their characters if they are above level 30 and below level 80. Each active account will have four levels to distribute with one new level in the pool every 4 days. These must be assigned to characters in the character selection screen. Your account must have an active running subscription. Once you have assigned a level to a character it cannot be reverted.
This is a terrible idea. Why? Because so many games and companies including Funcom have fought tooth and nails, knife on the bloodline; against botting, hacking, auto-leveling, and gold farmers. To announce their own system to do this is a dramatic shift and only encourages the other behavior.

If anything this deturs power leveling services from this game. Why everyone is getting mad about this system is rediculous. I don’t get to play much, so this is a godsend to me. This will help me experience the end game a little sooner. I am an impatient person. I for one love the idea of this new system and threw 90 dollars to funcom for the expansion and the addon pack. This will be great. And I hope everyone is eating their word in a few months.

im with u bud , i think this idea is great … if u get to lvl 30 and descide to never play and just offline lvl… lol good luck it will take u 200 days to get to 80 , this wont ruin the game in the least . just make it a bit more exciting for newer players

It’s perfect for me because I have less time for gaming these days, and it’s spread over a lot of games at the moment.
