Just a few months after their release date, the Alganon massively multiplayer online role playing game has announced that they will be switching to a subscription free model and eliminating the subscription. There will of course still be a cover price to purchase the game. This change will be made immediately. I wonder how long it will be until Alganon becomes entirely free-to-play? The Alganon MMORPG will use an item shop to sell items and advancement.
A new patch will release on March 11, 2010 and an additional patch will release on April 8, 2010. We will see how Quest Online fairs with these changes.
