Our friends over at Second Life Update recently posted about the acquisition of Swedish MMO Social Networking company Enemy Unknown AB by Linden Lab. Linden Lab is obviously looking to expand their social networking options for their virtual world Second Life. EUAB owns a particularly interesting property known as Avatars United which provides social interaction, applications, profiles, and more using virtual avatars from popular MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft, Eve Online, Age of Conan, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars, and Second Life.

It looks like Second Life Update.com also upgraded their design and I have to say it is looking good. Check it out at http://www.secondlifeupdate.com.
