Blizzard Entertainment has announced that they recently banned over three hundred and twenty thousand Warcraft III and Diablo II accounts for violating the Battle.net Terms of Use. Repeat offenders will be banned permanently while first time offenders will see only a thirty day suspension. All decisions are final.
The primary cause were use of third party programs or hacks and other botting/cheating activities.
