Blizzard Entertainment seems to have made a little bit of a mistake. The official Blizzard forums recently displayed ads for WoW Gold for sale. This is of course against the World of Warcraft terms of service (selling WoW Gold). Blizzard Entertainment recently released a response to the incident.

Blizzard Still Against Buying WoW Gold and Power Leveling Services in World of Warcraft

Blizzard blamed it on a temporary error and reinforces that they are against the buying and selling of World of Warcraft gold and bans accounts that participate.

They go on to discuss the negative impact of buying gold and using wow power leveling services. They remind others that hacked accounts is the main source of these services. Buying WoW gold or World of Warcraft powerleveling services supports bots, keyloggin, spam, viruses, hacking and other activities.
