We have written before about some of the scandals that EVE Online has experienced recently including mass account banning over exploits and cheating.
Well it has happened again. Over 6,200 accounts were banned from the EVE Online massively multiplayer online role playing game by CCP games over real money trading. It is a bit confusing although understandable as ISK virtual currency is what draws many players to and keeps them playing EVE Online. The offensive is codenamed Unholy Rage and is targeted at all real money traders. CCP Games wants you to instead use Pilot’s License Extensions (PLEX) and credit your subscription to EVE.
