We have written many times about Perfect World and their games. Chinese based game developer Perfect World Co., Ltd. announced today that they have acquired Japanese online game operator C&C Media (developer of ATLUS). It looks like the purchase price was about $21 million.
This is a huge move for Perfect World. They are looking to quickly expand their global reach and add more games than their already popular Jade Dynasty, Kung Foo!, Ether Saga Online, Battle of the Immortals, and Legend of Martial Arts, Zhu Xian massively multiplayer online role playing games; among others.
That is the reason that two of Perfect World’s games currently take the number 9 and number 10 spots on our list of Best Free MMORPGs.
