After the CrimeCraft MMORPG launched in August of 2009 it was clear that the prices were too high. After all the game only received a 6/10 from Metacritic and the graphics are arguably below par. Vogster originally tried to sell the game for $49.99 with two months free of the $9.99 monthly subscription cost. On October 26, 2009 the price will rightly be reduced to $39.99 (although it should be lower) with three months free of the new lower $4.99 monthly fee. (The $9.99 monthly fee is still available if you want an additional skill, augment and boost.) A stipend of the Gold Bars currency is also included. I guess all those gang members are cheap after all.
CrimeCraft Should Have Switched to Free-To-Play
What Vogster should have done is switch CrimeCraft to a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role playing game. Just look at the success the DDO MMORPG saw becoming a free mmorpg.
As we also wrote recently a Free CrimeCraft Trial is also available. A content update will also be included on October 26, 2009 with additional PvE locations, a gang tournament system, and more missions.
