The Eve Online ISK Starbase Exploit has received a ton of attention recently including a full investigation from CCP games with mass account banning and destruction of player owned Starbases.

What is the EVE Online Starbase Exploit or ISK Exploit

Basically the Eve Online Starbase Exploit or ISK Exploit allows players who own starbases to quickly and unfairly produce ISK or Inter Stellar Kredits in Eve Online including Eve Online Quantum Rise.

There is a bug in the player owned starbase reactors which has existed since February of 2007 and most likely as early as 2004. In the exploit ISK can be quickly earned as your starbase silos mysteriously fill more quickly than they should. Over 3 trillion ISK is rumored to be earned from this exploit.

CCP Games Drops the Smackdown in Eve Online

So what is CCP Games doing about this exploit? In response to the investigation and the widespread use CCP Games has so far destroyed 178 starbases, banned over 70 accounts, and penalized the 7 corporations found so far to be actively using the exploit.
