Funcom Lays Off 20% of Staff

Things at Funcom are just getting worse. Their flagship MMORPG Age of Conan is Dying and now Funcom has announced a 20% layoff of their staff. This will delay the release of The Secret World MMORPG for several months and possibly the release of the new Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures expansion titled Rise of the Godslayer.

It is unclear just how many of those layoffs will be covered by new hires in a Funcom Canada office.
