It is finally here. Warhammer Online Land of the Dead has launched. Not that Warhammer Online bothered to update their web site or anything. The news sections shows the latest entry on 6/11/2009. But their Herald Section has been updated.

Unfortunately many players had trouble with the patch. All North America servers were taken down at 8:00 am EDT. They were down for quite some time eventually coming back around noon.

Another cool feature of the 1.3 patch is that you will not need to restart a dungeon if a group member is disconnected. Respawn checkpoints will prevent you from starting over on long expeditions. Many other changes have happened from public feedback such as changes to the Public Quest loot roll.
