We have written many times about the disappointing Stargate Worlds MMORPG from Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment.

As a huge Stargate fan I see it as the Biggest MMORPG Failure in History.

After months of financial problems for Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment it turns out that making an MMORPG is too hard and CME has converted the massively multiplayer online role playing game into a 3rd person shooter instead. With a new name: Stargat Resistance. The Stargate Resistance shooter is scheduled for a first quarter of 2010 release date.
