There was a bit of drama recently regarding a Fallen Earth review from MMORPG.com. It looks community driven although I did notice quite a few Fallen Earth banners on the site awhile ago but maybe that doesn’t have anything to do with it.
Check out the below 10 minutes of high definition gameplay or play the game yourself and see what you think.
At least for a little while, Google has the Cache of the Fallen Earth 6.9 review. It looks like the community had some problems with the review stating that the review was biased, and the reviewer did not even meet the minimum game specs.

The editor states: “My sincere apologies for any problems that this caused to people. As you can imagine, this has been a bit of an embarasing situation for me. I really should have caught this on my edit of the review. So, continue to crucify me if you want to, but that was my bad and I’m sorry.”
MMORPG.com then retracted the review with the following statement: “Over the last 24 hours, we’ve taken into account community feedback, the content of the review itself and our own processes and decided that it is only fair we give this game a fresh set of eyes. Reviews are easily the hardest thing to get right on an MMO website, and sometimes mistakes will be made. This points to a larger issue that we’ve been aware of for quite some time with our reviews and how we score them. In the coming weeks, we’re going to evaluate this system more carefully and, I believe, provide a solution that meets the needs of the community more fully.”
The Fallen Earth MMORPG does not have a Metacritic.com score yet al though the three reviews have so far been 8.2, 8.1, and 6.7 from GamesNation, IGN, and GameShark. The user reviews are averaging 7.4 with the only real complaints about graphics, lag, or originality.
This reminds me of the drama that went on with the Eurogammer review of Darkfall Online that received a 2 out of 10
