We have written before about the World of Warcraft Movie and the Call of Duty Movie. But it now looks like even more video games and MMORPGs are being converted into feature length films. That’s right. Book or Comic Books are no longer the source for Hollywood Blockbusters; it’s video games. 20th Century Fox has acquired the rights from Electronic Arts to produce a Spore Movie. Chris Wedge, popular director of Ice Age and Robots has signed on for the project as has writers Jason Oremland and Greg Erb who wrote for The Princess and the Frog. Blue Sky Studios from Fox will be producing the movie.
