We wrote earlier about some executive movement in the MMORPG world particularly Stargate Worlds Studio Head Dan Elggren leaving Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment for Gazillion Entertainment.

Well the plot thickens. You may have heard rumors of layoffs and Cheyenne Mountain having problems paying their employees. MMORPG.com quoted Mrs. Elgren as saying on her personal blog: “Over 100 employees have left…he was basically volunteering for work and not getting paid….”

Given the financial problems and lawsuits for the Stargate Worlds MMORPG I tend to believe it and stand by my original prediction that Stargate Worlds is Dead.
