Electronic arts announced today that the first expansion pack for The Sims 3 will be called Sims 3 World Adventures and will allow players to travel to locations around the world including france and the tombs of Egypt. New challenges and hidden treasures are available to find in France, Egypt, China, and more. The Sims 3 Expansion Pack is scheduled to release on November 16, 2009 with a new Sims 3 iPhone version to release shortly after.

The Sims 3 has certainly been a success but I am concerned that this will change the gameplay so drastically that it will cease to be the Sims that we love and loose many of the gameplay aspects that have proven so beloved by fans.
