Age of Conan “Kill Anyone” Philosophy is Dead. Patch 3 Punishes Ganks and Random Attacks

There have been a lot of problems and a lot of attempted solutions for Age of Conan. I am a little disappointed that the new Patch 3 which hit Age of Conan Servers on October, 29, 2008 includes a Player Vs Player Consequence System.

This means that if you kill or gank players (especially newbs) then you are no longer free of any negative consequences. Repeatingly do this will result in your avatar becoming an outcast that must live in bandit camps and get their supplies and rez points there. If you see a guard as one of these outcasts he will instantly attack you.

I gues this is better then repetitive tasks and other punishments such as being put in jail but I am sad to see the true Age of Conan pass.
