We have made it through DDO Eberron Unlimited delays and the threat of a Turbine lawsuit to finally reach the launch date for the free Dungeons and Dragons Online MMORPG.
Turbine announced that DDO is now free-to-play as of September 9, 2009. The new pricing model provides the game for free with additional content available for a fee or subscription. Turbine, Inc Chief Executive Officer Jim Crowley said “Today Turbine changes the way gamers experience their online entertainment by providing them with a choice in how they pay and play for a premium MMO,”
