Look there is obviously only one way to play a massively multiplayer online role playing game like Darkfall Online. There are a lot of rules in place for your own good. And if you don’t like it then you are permanently banned with no appeal.
Below are some new rules as well as seven ways you can get banned. They border on ridiculous and obviously come from someone with control issues. In the next update I expect an announcement that your character will be chosen for you and all new players will be given a set list of instructions on how they must spend every second of their time while playing the game.

Now the Darkfall team has again updated their Darkfall cheating policy. Tasos the Darkfall Lead Developer again emphasises that no 3rd party programs or interfaces are allowed if they give an unfair advantage. He goes even further to say that only chat and image or video capture programs are allowed.
Accounts will be banned with no appeal.
He goes on to say players exploiting geometry (what? no math?) get temporary bans and may get permananet bans. This means no hiding inside of trees, buildings, walls, towers, terrain, etc. Come on. Seriously? Why not just improve the game physics to prevent this? Are players not allowed surprise attacks or 2 on 1 combat ether? Seriously….

Again there will be no appeals. This bothers me that the Darkfall team can’t be bothered to listen to complaints, appeals, or have their decisions questioned. Darkfall Developers are the most arrogant MMORPG developers I have ever heard of.
7 Ways to get a Permenant Ban (with No Appeal of Course) in Darkfall Online:
1. Auto Loot Scripts
2. Macroing while not attending
3. Unattended autorun
4. Third Party Apps other than Chat or Video/Image Capture
5. Anything that gives you an unfair advantage
6. Hiding in geometric objects
7. And even swimming against obstacles (really?)
These are so ridiculous. I hope Aventurine realizes they are shooting themselves in the foot. Read more here.

Yeah, I got banned for macroing jumping.
I could understand temporary bans…but this seems kind of ridiculous. Kind of like a life sentence for someone who jay walks.
As for autorunning…you’re not even using a third party program. Considering that the high level players use a ton of exploits (and get away with it, I might add…I’ve seen it first hand) this is all kind of ridiculous.

I got banned for making new characters a lot i just wanted to see what each race was like i got so pissed off

My 1 day old Trial account got banned..i have no fucking idea why tho, i made 2 characters to see which i liked best..i literally played for only 3 or so hours and in that time i was trying to figure out their retarded ass video settings so i could get this shit laggy game less laggy for me. I wake up this morning and i’m IP Banned. Worst thing i did last night was loot some persons items after they were dead.
