FYI ThePlanet.com & Hosting Companies Like Hostgator Are Down.

Many people will notice their sites down if they host with companies like Hostgator.com or others that ultimately use ThePlanet.com.

Here is the latest info:

1. Network issues at ThePlanet.com Data Center starting at 4:45 CDT.

2. H1, H2, and D6 are down

3. Hostgator.com and many others are down

4. It appears to be a network issue most likely an equipment or hard line failure

5. Block of addresses incorrect (DNS issues)

6. It looks like everything running through Houston and Dallas (where Hostgator is) is down

7. And now they are coming back up.  A router DNS issue it looks like
