i install aion and it says needs to update directx and when i update it says install directx9 and when i click install it says error “win32aplication not valid

runes of magic downloads at a rate of 1000 kbs for me then after that about at 500mb it starts downloading at a rate of 16kb why the hell?

I bought the game at gamestop and I can’t tell if it’s actually downloading from the disk. The reason being i never inserted disk 2 and it got to one hundred percent. I’m confused with this because off of a disk it usually goes straight to installion but i needed to download the game which took 2 days and i never inserted disk 2. After get to 100% it said I needed to update my direct X which i did and that was done and i pressed play and it keeps telling me to update it again. Do i need to be the admin.

When i got city of heroes and villians it didn’t download with this amount of slowness and i’m using the same computer.

My main question is if i’m actually instally the disk because i inserted the disk and went to the website put download pc client, but i can’t tell. Also is there a way to get past that directX thing

np, im now playing SPORE tm Galactic adventures and i will play it until i buy new computer, and then ill download that Aion game. And can i set something to dwoload and instal that aion faster, im asking that couse when i donloaded WoW something could be set to download faster. bye

You will have to download it from the main site not megauploader. And yes many people have trouble downloading and installing it which sucks.

ok…so i brought this game online on the sep 22 with NC soft download…been downloading for 1 and a half day…after a long day at work. i rush home getting ready to play game…keep in mind within those time i been closing and reopening my download window because NCsoft said it’ll continue and so it did…well got home found out its on 98 percent about 30 min to finish i notice the download speed was only 40-60 kbs…i’m using a router so i decided to switch direct to the modern for a faster speed…came back to the room and readed….connection..connection…0%…0% downloading…… WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF………..???? man wat a Freaky day……….??????try rerouting the modern restarting computer and got nothing….so its now on 0% and i had to wait another two freaky day….BullSh*t….

Trying to dl the beta now, it’s going to take approximatly 15 days =/ getting very slow dl rate – using bit torrent – dling at a rate of about 1k/s upwards of 33k/s … which is Bs, almost thinking of just cancelling it and waiting for the disc. Curious though, what is the gameplay like? Is this another grindfest game?

It is good, but it’s not a brand new game, it’s been out in Korea for a year, and this isn’t a new gaming company, so they should have been better prepared and the support is shit. I built my computer myself and i only got the game to work because i was very persistent. A customer shouldn’t really need to be that persistent. However, like I said, it is good, so to the people who are super pissed off, give it another shot when it comes out and you can install it from a disk.

This is a beta people!!! i sat and watched a bunch of people complain how its not working out properly, expect it!!! its a beta for a new game, everyone has kinks. Doesnt mean the actual game is gonna come out like that and although it takes forever and there are corrupt glitches , did any of you think that your own computer just cant hack it. lol just wait for the game to come out if the beta doesnt work. i know numerous people that are playing it that say its great. so ……… just wait!!

After downloading this game for the 3rd time, i still seem to have a corrupted file or something stupid which is hindering me from extracting the files.. WTF MANG!!!??

I downloaded the file and it said corrupt file when i opened it with winrar. Then i opened it with Windows Explorer (in Win7) and extracted it that way. It installed without any problems.

In winrar it showed up as 4.5 gig and in exlorer it showed the entire 9+ gigs.

I downloaded both the patch and the installation for the beta client using utorrent. How do I now play the game? I was brought to ncsoft launcher which has started a whole new download that will take days to complete…. how do i utilize the installation client i downloaded through utorrent?

This patch is taking FOREVER. I’ve been waiting since last night and its only 7%. This is total bullshit. Somebody who speaks korean needs to go and talk to NCsoft’s manager. But seriously… I started the DL on fileplanet and it went by pretty fast. But then this shit about patching is just ridiculous. Like really… 3 patches and the first one is still slow as hell. Anybody know of a way to make this go faster?

omgosh.. so its not only me and my lack of computer knowledge. ive probably had to restart my download like 6 times.. sometimes it took 3 days at a time.. ridiculous.. then when i have the file and go to extract.. ERROR cant do it for some stupid reason.

So I get the whole game downloaded and it updates the cinematic begins. I watch the whole cinematic and when it is complete my minimizes and goes black. I can still here sound but have no picture in the windowed screen. My laptop wont even complete the download OMG put an ice pick in my eye please.
