We have written before about the Black Phrophecy massively multiplayer online role playing game. It was looking more and more difficult for the Black Prophecy MMORPG to compete with EVE Online particularly since no publisher was announced for a long time until Gamigo Games. Reakktor Media GmbH has announced that the game will be converted to free-to-play.

The Black Prophecy closed beta is set for an April 2010 start date after many delays. The launch date should come before the end of 2010.
