Cities XL is a massively multiplayer online role playing game that allows you to build realistic cities complete with the events, jobs, etertainment, services, retail, and social services that every good city needs to develop a thriving economy. Cities XL (also known as Cities Unlimited) call definate comparisons to Sim City or City Life. One major difference is the interaction with other cities and players on persistent planets.

cities XL is aimed at the development of realistic 3d maps and cities with very large and complicated cities that ar interconnected. There will be be no monthly fees for single play but you still have to purchase the game. The interaction between cities will cost additional fees.

Although Cities XL seems like an interesting game, it may not have enough of a polish or compelling gameplay attract loyal gamers other than city planners.
