Given the apparent finacial success of PlayStation Home, Sony Online Entertainment is betting big on their next console based MMORPG with DC Universe Online. Although DC Universe Online has some stiff competition such as the well entrenched City of Heroes, there are several features that will set it apart.

1. Extensive Environmental Interaction – pick up cars and throw them, run up buildings, throw enemies at each other, and more.
2. Different Stances for different powers and scenarios – defense, offense, player parties etc.
3. This is a console based massively multiplayer online roleplaying game with significant graphics firepower.
DC Universe Online is approaching alpha and the release date will most likely be pushed back. The big question is if it will be free to play or subscription based.

This online game will be as popular as World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy or maybe bigger in a few month time.Reason is almost everyone loves the superheroes and they wanted to be one.
