We have written before about the Ether Saga Online MMORPG. For me there are definately some similarities to Free Realms particularly in the pet owning and training aspects.

Perfect World Entertainment wants to make this free to play mmorpg a hit. In a fun event Bantagle Hill has been attacked by Venomic Mosters for all those level 90 and above.
