The Fallen Earth MMORPG Open beta just started, but already it appears that things are not going as well as expected and the launch date for this post-apocalyptic massively multiplayer online role playing game has been moved back from September 9, 2009 until September 15, 2009. Client optimization and server issues were sited. Fallen Earth Project Manager Colin Dwan said: “…we’ve gotten insight into things that need to be tweaked, Our primary concern is making sure game play experience is as smooth as possible on launch day.”

Those who pre-ordered the game and expected early access on September 4, 2009 will also be delayed 5 days until September 9, 2009.
