We have written before about Guild Wars 2: Evil Rises. Guild Wars 2 is a massively multiplayer online role playing game from AreaNet and NCsoft. Guild Wars gamers have had to content themselves with an expansion Eye of the North. A beta test was delayed from 2008 and dedicated fans are still waiting eagerly. The latest rumors peg the beta for 2010 and a launch of 2011. This is a 2 year delay. And way too long to wait if you ask me. Guild Wars 2 uses its own game engine as well as Havok physics.
The Guild Wars 2 MMORPG is currently in alpha with very few updates. Unfortunately there really isn’t anything else to report. AreaNet really dropped the ball here.
