It has been awhile since we last wrote about Jumpgate Evolution. There has not been so much as a word about an open beta or release date in a long time. There have not been any gameplay videos for a long time.
NetDevil and Codemasters has been quite and in their absense EVE Online has continued to thrive, the sci-fi space shooter Black Prophecy has announced it will be free and a free Battlestar Galactica MMORPG has been announced.
News has been few and far between with the last post about a developer blog from January 18, 2010 on the official site. Recently NetDevil posted an update on their forums that they are retooling the game and adding more content and functionality.
But these efforts really felt half-hearted. Is Jumpgate Evolution stalled?
