    I’m gonna try to land a precopy, because I’m really interested in this game.

    One of my favorite aspects of an MMO is the size and scale of the enviroment and mobs. I want an epic feel.

    The one video makes it look huuuuuge, which really got me interested in it.

    The combat looks slightly clunky, but it is in beta, so I’ll let that slide, however, I hope they fix some of the animations and pathing issues, otherwise it’s gonna be the killer.

    I wonder how Mortal Online will fair up to launch in comparison to Darkfall, we all know how that went haha.

    @Droogie,
    Thanks for your comment. Yes the Darkfall launch went pretty badly. I can’t imagine the Mortal Online launch going worse. There is something about the game however that seems a little strange. The limited pre-orders and open beta approach and details feel strange to me.

    Yeah that is kinda odd and interesting.

    I wonder if they are having any sort of fund shortage? Hence why they would be taking in money even during a very early beta stage.

    On the flip side, maybe this is a way to weed out players that would otherwise be wasting the beta.

    I’m sure you’ve always noticed, how Open Betas are more of a free for all, and no one really cares about bug reports and such, but maybe by having paid players do the beta test, they will be more dedicated to fix the problem and make better suggestions, since they will be the ones playing it.

    Maybe I could do some investigative journalism and find out exactly why :P

    @Droogie,
    Yes if you want to do some investigation or interviews and guest post the results that would be very cool.
