Runes of Magic announced that the closed beta phase 2 has ended and that they are starting the open Beta phase on December 15, 2008. Be forewarned however that the initial Runes of Magic download and updates are quite large. You will definitely need a high speed internet connection and a lot of patience to get going on this free MMO.
