I am sorry. I am a huge Star Wars fan but if you read my post about how terrible the graphics in SWTOR are then it doesn’t take a genius to see that the Space Combat graphics are even worse. In fact; Space Combat in Star Wars the Old Republic looks like Shit.
Now before you start calling me a liar or praising the storyline or the depth of the game or the artistic quality of the cartoonish graphics or the compatibility with older computers; do yourself a favor and watch the below high definition trailer showing gameplay video of space combat in SWTOR. Then TELL ME IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE SHIT.
I mean, EVE Online’s graphics are 6 years old and they completely blow SWTOR out of the water.

I am sorry but i disagree with your claims that the graphics suck and with your claims that space combat sucks. I mean it could do with improvement but ive played wow for 3 years and its a hell of a step up from that.

The graphics are good, not as awesome as GuildWars or as Colorful as WoW BUT they are great and SWTOR is much deeper and richer then both those games companied(No offense to their fans ofc).

I love it when people say the graphics are “GREAT”. Compared to what? Aion had great graphics, the previous KOTOR games had great graphics. WOW does NOT, and this shit looks like WoW. I don’t care what they say about using less cpu resources, L2, GW, CoV/CoH ran with very low requirements and all of them looked leaps and bounds better than WoW, or this mess. SW had a precedence in semi-realism, accept it or don’t, but the fact is that TOR is a very big step away from what people expected, and in no way does it look “great”. Lightsabers are still the size of god-damn Pringles cans. Give me a break. What an epic letdown.

I think an important part of SWTOR is to make it accessibly and not too powerful on the graphics. I for one, dont own a gaming rig, just a simple laptop but would love to play. I think there are many people who would agree as well. Graphics look just fine for me, if not a little too good having me fear I wont be able to run it on my laptop

Bottom line, you don’t like the graphics of an MMO in Alpha, well then jump the gun, rage on the internet and don’t buy the damn game.

SWTOR will be the best mmo ever. You know why ? because I’m actually working on video game and believe me, if you have the deception of your life cause 1.5 seconds of space combat video, I really think that the problem is your brain.
In the industrie, there is a lot of concurrence but we are able to say when a game is better then every other and SWTOR is. So if you don’t want to buy it, your problem, but me and many million of people will play it with a lot of pleasure. Who wrong, many million of player or 30 who want the perfect game and don’t understand that a perfect game doesn’t exist ?

Well, looks like you know shit about MMOs.
I regret having to inform you that SWToR sucks balls. It always did. And Bioware/EA’s treatment of their users doesn’t really improve the situation, now does it?
But what do you expect from a game company who thinks the only smart thing any MMO developer can do is copy WoW, because WoW defined what an MMO has to be, or some such bullshit.
Bioware should have kept their fingers off the MMO market, they shoulda stayed with singleplayer RPGs, because face it … they SUCK at making MMOs.
But then, looking back at Dragon Age II, they now obviously suck at singleplayer RPGs, too.
Guild Wars 2 will probably be the last hope of the whole MMO market.

Oh so you could do better? Lets look at this for real. ITS A GAME NOT REAL LIFE. GAMES DO NOT HAVE REAL LIFE GRAPHICS. THIS IS ALOT BETTER THAN PACMAN OR RUNESCAPE. In short its only a game ppl. who cares just play it or dont play it.
