The Star Trek Online MMORPG Open Beta is finally here! You can get your open beta key through File Planet (only for paid subscribers) with more available soon.

You can pay $6.95 a for a month of Fileplanet subscription and get in on the Open Beta. The highly anticipated Star Trek Online massively multiplayer online role playing game from Atari and Cryptic Studios. The STO Open Beta will run from January 12, 2010 until January 26, 2010.

All customers who pre-order the game will be able to play 4 days before the full retail launch on January 29, 2010. The official release date is February 2, 2010. You can download the 7.8 GB client here
