We wrote before that Starcraft 2 made the right decision by dropping LAN support since LAN parties suck. That is true today more than ever even though Battle.net needs to undergo a serious upgrade to be ready. As a side effect Blizzard has delayed StarCraft II until 2010. That is certainly a bad move but the new version of Battle.net shold be worth it.
Blizzard does need to be careful however because if they delay too long than the graphics could become too outdated.
