We have written before about otherSteampunk MMOs. Mindfuse Games has one of their own set to enter closed beta. The World of Gatheryn is a stampunk massively multiplayer online role playing game currently accepting closed beta applications. Gatheryn takes place on Elymia Island (similar to Charles Dickens’ Victorian London) and is a casual MMORPG with many customization options, quests, mini games, and steam powered machine pets.

The World of Gatheryn MMORPG uses the HeroEngine. The game is set to launch in 2009.
