Fable II by Lionhead Studios has seen very good sales in the first week. Over three hundred and fifty thousand units have been sold in North America on October 21, 2008 alone.

Fable II is available for the Microsoft Xbox 360. Online Co-op is available as a free download (thankfully) and is a pretty cool feature.

One thing I really like about Fable 2 is that your actions change your character. Your attributes and features and appearance change based on your actions.

There is an internal economy and you can only earn money through trades in the town but not through quests.

The story and combat are pretty good. I particularly like the magic effects during combat.

The game itself incorporates 4 changing seasons into a dynamic virtual world which grows and modifys based on player actions. You can own property and purchase and rent homes and more. The trees are individually animated with physics in the land of Albion. It is truly beautiful to explore.
