We wrote before that Video Games turned out to not be a recession proof industry after all. Sales in the video game industry according to NPD Group market research were down sixteen percent in August from the year earlier and sales totals so far this year are down fourteen percent. Harware sales were down twenty five percent in August from last year. This is the 6th monthly decline in a row compared to last year. Will things improve in time for the holidays?
